Help so I don't sound like a pervert?

I’m at a summer camp and there’s a girl here that I really like. I want to tell her my feelings for her (there’s only a week left so it is better done sooner than later!). I just want to know if this is an appropriate way of telling her (it probably isn’t seeing my previous history with girls)…

My theory is that when we are walking to wherever (we are friends, so it’s not uncommon) to just say, “you know I can’t get over how beautiful you are.” (and that IS true) and see where it goes from there. The problem is that that sounds too random and there’s no good “segway” into it so that I don’t sound like creep/pervert. Any suggestions as to how to make the transition as easy as possible? Thanks!
